Honduras

There are several things I love about Honduras. Firstly, the people on the Caribbean coast have a natural relaxed humour that is infectious, add to this some World-class diving at great rates, beautiful islands, the stunning stalae at Copan. Honduras will, given another decade be a major destination in itself.

We elected to dive in Roatan. I am a Divemaster, and although I could have dived for free in Utila the diving in Roatan is better and there are less 'dive-factories', where students are put through in large numbers at low rates and, in some cases, cutting critical corners.
