Guatemala

Before coming to Guatemala I had heard that Guatemala was increadibly colourful and had some amazing markets. However, everything I read said that many indigenous people in Guatemala don't like having their photograph taken. As I write this I am well into my 2nd month in Guatemala and have hardly had a single refusal. This country is a polite photographers paradise! If you come to Guatemala you must go to Tikal. We saw many ancient ruins in Mexico and in my opinion nothing comes close, and certainly my photographs don't come close to doing this site justice. In my opinion it is near the quality of Angkor Wat in Cambodia.
